Bonterra Productions Inc., producers of the hit TV series Mantracker, have announced that host Terry Grant is retiring after six successful seasons. Grant’s sixth and final season will premiere in May 2011 on the Outdoor Life Network. The show’s producers are searching for a new host for Season Seven to be filmed in 2011 for broadcast in 2012.
Auditions will be held in several cities in Western Canada during the month of February. Candidates must have good horse, bush, and tracking skills.

Terry Grant cannot be replaced as Mantracker Terry Grant IS Mantracker. I believe that Bonterra wasn’t willing to negotiate a decent contract for the star of their show e en though the show was a Gemini award winner. There is no one out there that has the knowledge of Search and Rescue, horsemanship and the charisma to pull this off. Bonterra has just seen the end of the popularity of the Mantracker show without it’s star Terry Grant the show will die.

Terry Grant IS Mantracker. Grant makes it what it is. His undeniable skill, intensity and obvious strength of character gives the whole show class and appeal. Good luck without him. You have lost one fan and loyal viewer.
come on terry grant may be good but i think there is probaly a few trackers,cowboys in bc and alberta he is one of many but then if u never leave your cave you would relize there is lots of people with bush scills in the west
I think it will be very hard to replace Terry Grant but ithink a good replacement would be Phil Lemuex

The replacement for Terry will have to be astoundingly better to continue the awesome mantracker series. If the wrong man is picked this series will flounder…changing a hero rarely results in a successful continuation…hope you do it right men of power…

nobody is better than terry grant, without him the show will suck. he is mantracker. replacing him will lose ratings and you have just lost a loyal fan of the show
If they wanted a replacement that was suitable they’d hire Chuck Norris. Of course then nobody would get away and it wouldn’t be a competition.
I also think that replacing terry is a mistake.I think you should ask your veiwers.We recognize Terry as mantracker and I don’t think his fans will favor a replacment.
I can’t believe I just now found Mantracker and now he won’t be back. Grant IS Mantracker – it will NOT be the same without him. GET HIM BACK!!!!!!!!
There’s NO WAY the show will survive without Terry. If he leaves, there’s not a chance I’ll keep watching the show. And it’s my favourite show, so I’ll be really upset if the Mantracker does change.

I just started watching Mantracker and was even gonna apply to compete in season seven. But I dont think I will now, not without Terry Grant. Bring him back, dont let him leave, pay him anything he wants, the show will shiver up and die without him. Terry Grant is the Mantracker, remember that Bonterra Productions !!!!
BIG mistake letting Terry Grant go! Like everyone has said he is Mantracker. I won’t watch anymore! I’m a fan of Terry Grant. I can’t see anyone else taking his place. From what I read, they are paying him a ridiculously low wage compared to other celebrities anywhere. We love you Terry!
